Job Summary
Sr. QA is responsible to establish clear quality goals and objectives for the project and provide day to day leadership by supporting, cooperating and closely working with all team members.
He/She should also actively participate in establishing project plans, estimating work and monitoring progress against milestones.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To execute all components of product testing such as functional, regression, end-to-end testing, performance, security and load testing; make recommendation to improve product reliability, performance and quality assurance best practices and processes.
- To collaborate closely with programmers and business experts to design tests to mitigate risks and help business experts define requirements.
- To conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality.
- To work as part of a self-organizing team in which you determine your tasks on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you.
- To collaborate within QA department in order to improve the knowledge-base of the department.
- To research on new technologies and learn to use them in project success.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements
- Thorough understanding of the overall software delivery process and lifecycle including testing methodologies and processes.
- In-depth experience of requirement and test case management.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, UNIX, Github, Agile Development and Database System.
- Strong passion for quality and a desire to make a positive change in the product.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skill.
- Leadership Skills - highly pro-active, independent, self-motivated, self-organized, decision-maker, committed and an excellent team player.
- Experience with some scripting or programming language or open source test tools will be an added advantage.
Other Requirements
