Job Summary
Lead PHP Developer must be people focused professional who will be responsible to support, cooperate, supervise and manage all team members and follow all the procedures and insights given by the project manager.
She/he should also responsible to communicate a clear vision and strategy to each individual in team to inspire and empower them to perform within a common framework.
Core Responsibilities
● Research, design, and develop high quality software systems.
● Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
● Develop and direct software system technical design procedures, programming, and documentation.
● Create technical design documentation for software changes and development.
● Consult with customers concerning the technical design and development of software applications and modifications.
● Contribute to the development of project estimates, scheduling, and deliverables.
● Conduct code reviews for system modifications and development.
● Establish/maintain effective team communications to ensure client needs are met.
● Keep management team apprised of work progress and is proactive in communicating any concerns or opportunities for better project delivery.
● Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Technical Skills:
● Advanced Knowledge and Experience of PHP5, Javascript, CSS and SQL.
● Advanced Knowledge on Object Oriented Programming Concept and Design Patterns.
● Advanced Knowledge and Experience with one of Major PHP Frameworks such as Yii, Zend, Symphony, Cake-PHP or Codignitor etc.
● Advanced Knowledge and Experience with one of Major JavaScript Frameworks such as JQuery, BootStrap or ExtJs etc.
● Advanced knowledge of database systems and database structure design.
● Advanced Knowledge and Experience with third party API & Web Services implementation/ development in PHP (SOAP, REST, JSON/XML RPC, etc.).
● Experience in Agile development methodologies and Test Driven Development.
● Experience with advanced revision control system such as Git or SVN etc., branching, tagging etc
● Follows best Practices such as coding standards, unit-testing, etc
● Experience of leading a project team.
Non-Technical Skills:
● Must be a good communicator (both oral and written)
● Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
● Must be self-motivated, dependable and able to multi-task.
● Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient.
● Must be a team player.
● Must be able to lead a large project/team.
Other Requirements
Person should be minimum graduate in Information Technology or Engineering with sound knowledge and experience on programming, scripting and testing. She/he must have at least 3 years of proven experience in technical field with minimum of 1 year of team management experience.
